About PALW
The Staff and The Board of Directors
Making a Difference!
It is with great pride that I serve as President of the Board for the Police Athletic League of Wilmington, an organization conceived by a handful of visionary men and women. These trailblazers saw that such an institution was necessary and believed it was achievable. Their conviction and effort brought PALW to life. The Executive Staff and the Board of Directors have endeavored to advance the vision of this esteemed group and to fulfill the mission of PALW.
Accomplishments and Future
PALW serves more than 250 of Wilmington's boys and girls each day. In addition to open recreation activities, PALW offers a computer room; a game room equipped with Playstation 2 units; a "Kids Café" that serves hot meals; youth chess and checkers. Kids also participate on step teams or divisional basketball teams.

Police Athletic League of Wilmington
The Police Athletic League of Wilmington (PALW), Inc. opened its doors to the community in June, 2002. Since then, the number of citizens served and the variety of programs offered continue to increase.
